The practice is located in the heart of Nottingham city centre, meaning it is very easy to access via different public transport links.  If you are getting here by bus, there are stops on Upper Parliament Street for the following bus routes: NCT Pink 28, 30, NCT Turquoise 77, 78, 79, NCT Dark Blue 4, Trent Barton Rainbow One. However, the practice is easy to access from various other stops in the city centre. 

If travelling by the NET TramRoyal Centre tram stop is the nearest to the practice. If you get off here, it is a short walk to the practice. 

If you are driving to the practice and needing to park, there are a few different multi-story car parks and on street parking areas close the practice. To find the best parking for you, you can visit the Nottingham City Council website here – Nottingham City Centre Parking Guide | NCC Parking
Written Communications 
If you need any letters or information in another format, or if you need help communicating with us, please let us know. Examples include letters in large print or easy read format, or using a British Sign Language interpreter.
If your needs change, please let us know so that we can update your record. 
 
Chaperone
It is our policy to respect the privacy and dignity of our patients. If you would like a chaperone to be present in your consultation, please let our reception team know as soon as you arrive for your appointment.
 
Interpreting Service
If you use sign language then arrangements can be made for a British Sign Language Interpreter to attend your appointment. An interpreting service is also available to patients whose first language is not English. Please ask about these services when making your appointment.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.
The Urgent Care Centre provides access to assessment and treatment if you need help with a health problem that is urgent, but not life-threatening.

This is a walk-in service, open between 7am and 7pm, 365 days a year, with no appointment needed.

You can call 0115 883 8500 for directions, current waiting times or to make an appointment for appointment based services, healthcare advice cannot be given out over the telephone.

The centre offers assessment and treatment for health conditions, e.g:
– Under 2s – please contact 111 for advice on the best service available for you
– Minor burns or scalds
– Minor head injury with no loss of consciousness
– Skin infections or animal bites
– Suspected broken bones, sprains & strains (X-ray service available)
– Eye infections or minor eye injuries

The centre is not appropriate for:
– Non-urgent treatment that could be treated by your GP
– Routine services such as blood tests or wound dressing / suture removal
